Hello all. We are new owners (well, in October) of a '14 JKU Sport. We lean towards the built-not-bought mentality, so we got a bone base model. Have added nerf bars (because Aim likes to wear her skirts and is the main driver) and then some 17" wheels and 33" tires (because Bri didn't like the stock wheels...well neither did really). Other than a couple stickers we haven't done too much yet. Nothing fancy on this one - manual windows, locks, transmission, no sat-nav or heated seats. Just a Jeep in raw form.
It's enough to get started though. Bri doesn't drive due to poor eyesight, and Aim is just getting her 4WD feet wet. Bri had a CJ7 in high school and the tales to match...so Aim had to see what this was all about. Now she is in love, and just about ready to give up her other expensive hobby in order to fund this one lol.
We live in NE Raleigh. Looking forward to meeting a few friends to tool around with.
